The combination of PCD composite film and cutter body, in addition to the use of mechanical clamping and bonding methods, mostly through brazing of PCD composite chip to suppress the cemented carbide substrate. Welding methods are mainly laser welding, vacuum diffusion welding, vacuum brazing, high-frequency induction brazing and so on. At present, the high frequency induction heating brazing with less investment and low cost is widely used in the welding of PCD blades. In the process of blade welding, the welding temperature, flux and welding alloy selection will directly affect the performance of the welding cutter. In the welding process, the welding temperature control is very important, such as the welding temperature is too low, welding strength is not enough; if the welding temperature is too high, PCD is easy to graphite, and may lead to "burn", affecting the combination of PCD composite tablets and cemented carbide substrate. In the actual machining process, the welding temperature can be controlled according to the degree of insulation time and PCD red, which should be less than 700 ℃. Foreign high-frequency welding adopts automatic welding technology, high efficiency and good quality, continuous production can be realized, and more manual welding is adopted in China, and the production efficiency is low and the quality is not satisfactory.
